Yash, I've enjoyed every minute of your responses to Kirk and Hermit. I'm
following your line of thought regarding both of those characters.

Hermit has played far too long in his egotistical and rational-dampening
sandbox. When, it seems, someone else has an opinion that may have the
slightest inclinations of religious thought he goes off the handle. I look
at things with an open mind. Something he's apparently not done since?
Resorting to name calling as he has is childish and immature. If this
person were as rational as he claims to be, then he'd come to the
realization that what he is doing himself a disservice by stooping so low.

As for Kirk--let him have his fun. Heh. He comes off as the poster boy for
shallow arrogance more often than not. His responses to you were uncalled
for. The comment on the "race card" is wholly one to appease himself.
He'll misrepresent your statements to suit his own needs. He jumps into the
middle of forays whenever he feels he should, but will rake over the coals
anyone else who does so. In other words, he's a hypocrite.

Pay no attention to him.

These two individuals are like Siamese twin-conjoined at the brain. Using
up their limited supply of gray matter. Unfortunately, the two of them have
sapped their collected brainpower. And, are now attempting to crucify you
in front of the whole group. Which is unfortunate for them.

I propose that if it weren't for Kirk Steele jumping into this conversation,
then the conversation would have slowly trickled to a standstill. But,
there appears to be a compelling force behind his motives. I would think
that he should learn to adapt to others better, before jumping into further
discussions about you and
your opinions.

And, as for his pseudo-intellectually stimulating piece on your
"psychological conditions"---tell him to "shut up, squid". (Anyone who
knows the squid I am referring to will know it's not the Purple Squid of the
CoV, but rather the intolerables who join the US Navy)

In fact, I would simply say this to Hermit and Kirk Steele:
"Because you may have suffered at the hands of some psychologically-twisted
people in your lifetime, OR have read a book or dozen on the subject, does
not give you the authority to assume anything about another person's
psychological make-up. Leave that for the experts, which you gentlemen
surely are not."

Casey
