..the only thing i hate about McD's is that they dont offer a really low
price veggie/low fat n' shit burger or bug burger and that they pay
employees so so little for such terrible work.

[athenonrex] i agree, ronald mcdonald, the clown, is a pig fucking bastard
and mcdonald's should be destroied.
[Hermit] The principal reasons it deserves to fail are matters of taste.
[athenonrex] but then i don't eat there and i am an anarchist, so to do so
would be hypocritical.
[Hermit] I assume that even anarchists have to eat somewhere. And it is only
by virtue of a complex society which protects even anarchists that they can
live at all. Anarchy can only flourish in the presence of a society that it
can protest against, it cannot be a society.
[athenonrex] my perspective is,as i said before, that the mass slaughter of
any animal is appaling.
[Hermit] Why? How do you feel about the eradication of anopheles? Why would
it be a "bad thing?" Justify your reply.
[athenonrex] ...our bodies were designed through the evolutionary process to
consume BOTH meat and vegetation, ...
[Hermit] Refer to my reply to Mermaid.
[athenonrex] and as far as being vegan goes, don't preach to me while you're
sitting behind a computer.
[Hermit] This is absurd. The one is necessary, but what and how one eats is
a personal choice. The other is a lifestyle choice. Both are the selection
of the individual with (possible) social implications. But anarchy proclaims
that social implications are invalid. Thus, while proclaiming yourself an
anarchist, you cannot simultaneously criticize somebody else's individual
choices and expect to be taken seriously.
[athenonrex] last time i checked, they ran off of electricity, most of which
is produced nowadays in nuclear plants or via oil, which in turn causes
pollution in general, leading to global warming, causing rainforests to die
out, killing millions of species.
[Hermit] Right now, most electricity is produced from coal or gas. The
absence of electricity would lead to vastly more pollution and a far higher
toll on the environment - and would kill billions of people. As for nuclear
plants, they are currently the cleanest and have the least lifecycle
ecological impact of any power source. Don't knock what you don't begin to
comprehend and could not hope to see replicated by a society such as that
which you advocate.
[athenonrex] so don't preach to me about veganism, for the only way to be a
true vegan is to live as one with nature and completely shun the modern
world...
[Hermit] Was that spelt "anarchist" or "absolutist"?
[athenonrex] and as too my spelling errors, grow the fuck up. last time i
checked on that the idea/concept was more important then the grammer.
[Hermit] They are. But, even if the readers did not have the contradictions
inherent in your stance to draw upon, your egregious communicative
deficiencies would lead others to draw conclusions about your mental
capability. So, assuming that you don't wish to be ignored as one of those
with nothing worth listening to, but who insists upon proving it at
full-volume, I saw it as a not unfriendly suggestion that using a spell
checker - and possibly reading your posts aloud to yourself before clicking
"send" - would leave some possibly beneficial doubt about the issue of your
mental capacity.
