I've tried ostrich and kangaroo - can't recommend either of them in all
honesty. Very tough and stringy - as you might expect. On the other hand,
boar is wonderful. Much better than pork.
With regard to cetaceans, there was an argument that they and great apes
should be given some degree of legal rights on the grounds of their
intelligence being about as high as that of a human child (can't remember
the details, I'm afraid). I'm not entirely unsympathetic to that argument,
but I do wonder how you would draw the line as far as intelligence is
concerned - before you end up giving ants legal rights.
