Well only the New York Times actually sent me any quantity of email, 3 to 4
articles a day on average. I would say this is desperately inadequate. Most
European dailies ( and I expect the same in most competing countries) devoted
up to 16 pages a day to the World Cup, and it was on the Front Page news
everyday as well. Does the American media reach this sort of saturation about
any sporting event?
