virus: Fw: [ExistentialFreedom] resentment

I can find no justification whatsoever for the feeling that my worldview is superior to another person's.

Even those individuals who are existentially condemned as "inauthentic" are still doing the best they can with what they've got.

Declaring myself "authentic" doesn't obtain any special privileges. And so what if it makes me feel self-righteous?

Subjectivity, it turns out, is not actually truth. It is one facet of a multiple-dimensioned prism.

If humans can't help dividing the world into "us" versus "them"--with "us" being the recipients of The Truth while "them" are the fools--then I take resentment as an indication of self-deception.

Resentment is not going to save me. It can motivate me to preach, but of what use is that?

Existential Freedom ought to include freedom from resentment.
