If conventional war with Iraq cost 10,000 lives, yet a nuking of an
American or israeli city, plus a retaliatory nuking of Baghdad cost ten
million (if it could be limited to a single exchange), and there were only
a 1% chance of that happening, the cost-benefit analysis would still
weigh in at 10:1 in favor of conventional action.

Did you read mine? I read enough of yours to catch the general
subtextual conspiratorial drift.

After the publicity, they will have to be publicly dealt with. Had the
matter remained out odf the public eye, I strongly suspect they would
have been dealt with, anyway, but privately. OF COURSE people of all
types will try to buy weapons from those who have them, regardless of
whether or not they share their views of things; that's why bank robbers
rob banks - it's where the money is.

Ir seems to me that Hermit is the scared one; scared to crawl out of his
dark BBS garage and duke it out on the email list in clear vision of all
the sundry Virus neighborhood kids.
