Actually, Saddam's former mistress has reported that he has met with
Osama Bin Laden twice (she also reported that his favorite move was 'The
Godfather, his favorite song was Sinatra's "Strangers in the Night" and
that he uses Viagra and facial anti-wrinkle treatments, among other
things). If Saddam gave nukes to Al Quaeda, he would still be in control
of them, after a fashion, for the three likeliest nuclear targets of Al Quaeda
would be the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia (for allowing the infidels to
station unbelieving troops on their sacred soil). It is obvious that Saddam
would not consider a detonated nuke in the US or Israel wasted, and if
one was detonated in Saudi Arabia, he could both blame the US for it, and
move troops in under the pretext of restoring civil control; he would then
be in control of the saudi oilfields and the two holy cities of Islam (Mecca
and Medina), as he desired back in 1990.
