...well said my dear Walter. it is strange indeed how this tragedy has
managed to capture the sympathetic nerves of the masses whilst they ignore
other equally significant tragedies. it reminds me of a recent report on
the L.A. news regarding 2 sorrow cases asking for donations...one was an
injured boy, the other an abandoned dog...the dog's account accumulated just
over 100,000$ while that of the boy got a little over 8000$. this proves
the point that 99% of folk donate to help their self-esteem, not the victim.
im not quite certain but if i were given 250,000$ tax free, i'd pretty
much be in heaven the rest of my life...aka up to my elbows in 15 yr old
cuban whores...er...i mean cigars, a pad in rio, paris and miami...and a
writing career that wouldnt exactly have to succeed:)
your friend;
Sebby.

Could someone please tell me what I'm missing here!!!
The upper-middle to lower-upper class yuppie wives (or husbands) and
children of WTC bond-trading firms (and other businesses) are bitching
and readying lawsuits because they're only getting a few hundred
thousand instead of several million in compensation for their loved ones
being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
A Taco-Bell employee's wife with several children only ponders what
second full-time minimum wage job she must find when her husband dies in
a tragic traffic accident that wasn't his fault.
The soft whining underbelly of the American middle to upper class
makes me want to puke.
Those at the left margins that keep plugging along without bitching and
moaning are the real heroes.
Heroes that don't realize the American dream is only in their dreams.
Very disgusting!!!!
Walter
