I have carefully considered those points, and am willing to move on; but only in a world where the victim is expected to curtsey to her rapist or be blamed for the crime should I be expected to turn a third cheek after being bitchslapped twice. I slap back.
Thanks for listening, but don't you think the victim/rapist comparison is going just a _tad_ too far? This is the internet. It's a bit insensitive to compare a flame-war to being raped. Have you ever been sexually assaulted by a man before?
And since I know you've done your share for women's rights (by helping the pro-choice movement), you know should realize that in this world (esp. Islamic countries) women often ARE blamed for the crimes committed against them. Hell, in some third-world countries, women are stoned and/or raped just as punishment for the crimes of their male siblings, which is really fucking sick.
Sorry, that was my reactionary feminist statement of the day.
