...i am in agreement here. drawing lines in the sand over one goofy issue
is ridiculous and furthermore, a betrayal of what the CoV is all about. i
think Joe has gone a bit loopy temporarily, key word being 'temporarily'.
we all get in moods or situations which encourage the unexpected from us, no
one is immune from this effect. lets not get all personal over intellectual
issues which balloon into something else, ok?

Silence is a form of communication. When action is needed, and the response
is silence, then it is safe to assume in this case that the silence is equal
to full support of Hermit. This is why David is grouped with Hermit. Their
leaving together seems to indicate that this is indeed the case.
That is such a George dubya Bush thing to say
reference: "...either you're with us or you're against us..." in a State
of the Union address following 11SEP2001 terrorist attacks.

I would be very interested in discussing Mayan astronomy as it relates to
the evolution of human beings.
Any takers?
Archibald
Yeah I have recently loaded XOOPS to http://madisonunderground.com
I have plenty of tweaking to do, but, I like it so far.
I need to study more on Mayan history. I don't know how to read Mayan or
pronounce it, however, I'm fluent with the Mayan number system. I remember
how to use Aztec but I can't exactly remember all the symbols.
For what ever reason some people like to say that Aztec and Mayan are
similar but that's completely wrong. Mayan numbers are systematic (base 20)
but Aztec are not. With Aztec you just add the symbols together like with
Egyption numbers. The incrementing of Aztec symbols are base 20 which could
be were the misconseption comes from.
I'll be willing to talk with you about Mayan Astronomy upon you're reply to
the post.
