Kharin and rhinoceros, (the) "Reconciliation Committee" did not find any personal attack which would deserve administrative action.

    1. What were THEIR findings?

    2. What were the specifications cited in this summary finding?

    [rhinoceros]
    1. Our findings on the complaint for a personal attack which was put before us by one of the involved parts: It was not anything extraordinary and it did not require any administrative action at all.

Our findings on the whole incident: The only reason the incident was blown out of proportion was the use of kickbanning during an argument. This is the reason we made up rule (3), although this issue was not included in the complaint.

    2. We did not set rules of conduct. We used our common sense and our own understanding of an acceptable and fertile environment. For this purpose, we took into account the precedent set by this vote

and the following rule on which we agreed:

"The committee accepts that everyone will be free to launch personal attacks with impunity as long as they are unrecognizable as such by those who enforce the rules. How could it be otherwise?"

It could be argued that objective rules of conduct for everything should be set, or some lines drawn; anyone is welcome to draft rules for anything and propose them. Something to consider in this case, though, is what Hobbes said: "One is free when the law is silent on a subject."
